Project Brief

The Cancer Club is a charity on a mission to make life better and easier for men with advanced-stage cancers. They help to connect members both in-person and online in supportive environments, and through the medium of sport. The Website Company was first introduced to Matt during a charity website building event. Impressed by our performance and skills, he got in contact with The Website Company after the event had finished proposing that we worked together for a little longer. We were later contracted by Matt to build a fully functional membership site, with a focus on its social features. The site includes a members-only forum, personalised user profiles, web notifications, a resource center, a shop with online payments, auction listings, and a huge resource centre. The site was built in WordPress using Beaver Builder.

Feedback

Matthew Wiltshire

Founder of The Cancer Club
“I got to know Bex when she was given our charity website to create as part of a brilliant initiative to help non-profits. It was clear then that she is not only extremely talented, but has a fantastic attitude towards helping others. It was a simple decision to bring Bex and The Website Company on board to provide the skills and expertise to build TCC. She worked tirelessly to bring our site to life, always going above and beyond. She became integral to our team. I cannot recommend them enough.”
